In the afternoon, we drove up the road to Amarillo and visited the American Quarter Horse Museum and then we drove by Cadillac Ranch before visiting Academy for a new pair of shoes and a Fazoli's for dinner! We have friends who ride their bikes to eat - we've decided that we're the family who travels to eat. Have a Fazoli's? We'll be in your area before too long. The Quarter Horse Museum had an art exhibit and then we came to the children's area. It's one of the nicest children's area we've seen. You could stand behind cowboys/girls, you could answer questions on a computer about horses, you could "scan" a horse and see all the insides via interactive computer screen that lets you hear the heart and see the muscles, and you can listen to a talking horse discuss with this vet why he thinks he should be allowed to eat all he wants.
