The end of April also brought with it the last birthday for our family's birthday season.  This time, we had a small party.  Theme: Hello Kitty Happy Birthday Miss C This purse was from Grammie and her caregiver.  It's made from plastic bags.  Both H and C have one now and I don't think they've been left at home in the last month.  We LOVE them!!!   The most exciting part for Z ? Playing with the party hats.  Do you know how many different ways you can wear one?

We're a little behind in posting our science results and other activities.  All I can say is...it's been a busy spring. Plant Project Summary: the control lived, the outdoor plant lived, and the grow bulb lived.  The plant we were talking to was a victim of little brother - he threw it on the floor and most of the dirt had to be vacuumed up and what remained wasn't enough for the little flower to survive.  The in darkness plant lived about 2 weeks and the no water plant died by the end of week 1. Which one grew the most?  the grow bulb.  Poor plants which didn't survive.  The light experiment on the left.  The no water on the right.   Control:  started at 4 to 4.5 inches.  After 1 month, 4.5 to 5 inches.  Growth = .5 inches Grow bulb plant: started out at 4.5 inches.  Ended at 6.5 inches.  Growth = 2 inches.
