After the Texas Star Party, we hit the ground running - we had 2 weeks of daily swim lessons and then Vacation Bible School (VBS). We also had a little down time in which the kids just played and did a little bit of school work a.k.a math! A created a telescope for Barbie - very well thoughtout design!! She even had a shroud for the bottom, but it was dismantled before I could get the camera. Oh well, it still works! Z helped a little bit - usually being the runner for fetching the wandering legos. This year, the theme for VBS was Creation. The publisher was Apologetics Press . It included some dinosaurs. We own several of their dinosaur books so I was comfortable letting the kids go. Z learned that "extinct" means they are all dead and that's why we don't see the dinosaurs because "they're all extinct!". The kids enjoyed the week.
