Friday night was our monthly meeting of the Texas Astronomical Society. Each month, they have an adult program and a kids program. This year, the kids have been studying the planets and this month was Mars - in honor of the launch next month of the next rover. Their activities for the night were to identify traits about Mars and then to "build" their own rover. A working on her rover. H built one right away with all "pink" legos. C's 1st attempt - it only had one set of wheels and didn't roll too well. Z's 1st attempt was amazing!! This boy has a future in robotics, I'm thinking.
