August Fun Times

August has been fairly calm compared to the rest of the summer.  We had swim lessons in June and July, VBS, and Camp Cowboys and Indians.  August began with a surprise trip to Mamaw's house.  Everyone except, N, got to spend several days visiting.  They rode horses and swimmed and played outside and watched movies and found the clothes stash!  While they were gone, Craig and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with dinner at Logan's and quiet time to talk!  Quiet talking doesn't happen often so it was very nice to see we are on the same page still about alot of things and to just visit with each other!   N and I also went grocery shopping by ourselves - something I've been threatening to do for a while.  It was a nice break for everyone, but we sure were excited to see them!  Here, we went to pickup the kids and N  got to play too.  The truck was built by Papaw. Summer Fun!

This summer has been a busy one!  We started out with a camping trip to Lake Tawakoni State Park.   Z had great fun with the rolly-pollies.  He would let them walk all over his hands and even created a little play area for them.   N has discovered that it's fun to hand upside down.  Can I make Dad's drink tip over? Our new camping table decor.  We usually take the trailer to the Star Party; this was one of the rare times we've used the trailer for camping.  To celebrate, we found some mosquito repellent lights and pretty napkins for the upcoming 4th of July.  A with her bike S with her bike C with her training bike.  Our banana bread cooked over the campfire.
